Ethiopian delegate led by Peace State Minister arrived in Djibouti

Addis Ababa, September 4, 2021 (FBC) – The Ethiopian Delegation led by State Minister of Peace, Frealem Shibabaw has arrived at Djibouti to take part in 27th Ethio-Djibouti Joint Border Administrators and Commissioners Meeting to be held from 5-6 September, 2021.

Upon arrival,  the delegation was received by Saed Nouh Hassan, Minister of Interior of the Republic of Djibouti and Berhanu Tsegaye, Ambassador extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the FDRE to the Republic of Djibouti. 

The joint meeting is expected to deliberate on issues of mutual interests with greater emphasis on the way to enhance the existing cooperation along the two country’s common border areas in social and economic sectors. 

It will also discuss ways to further scale up the collaboration in the prevention of illegal activities, and strengthen peace and  security across their shared border areas and economic corridors.
