Ethiopian commences weekly freighter service from Copenhagen to Addis Ababa

Addis Ababa, March 15, 2023 (FBC) – Ethiopian Airlines, Africa’s leading carrier, confirmed today that it has commenced a weekly freighter service from Copenhagen to Addis Ababa.

According to the Airline, the freighter service is effective as of 12th March 2023 with its B767-300F aircraft which has a capacity of 45 tonnes of cargo per flight.

It is indicated that the new route will play an important role in boosting trade between Europe and the rest of the world.

Recall that Ethiopian also has plans to launch five-weekly passenger service to Copenhagen starting from May 2023, which will boost its cargo capacity using the belly hold of its passenger aircraft.
