Ethiopian, Canadian PMs hold phone talks
Addis Ababa, June 16, 2020 (FBC) – Prime Minister Dr Abiy Ahmed held today phone talks with Justin Trudeau, Canadian Prime Minister.
The discussion focused on the current and future challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Both leaders agreed that global and aligned leadership is critical to bridge the two nations over to a post-COVID19 world.
The two Prime Ministers also held phone discussions in March this year on ways of mitigating the spread of the pandemic.
They agreed to work closely together, including through experience sharing and other means.
Prime Minister Justin Trudeau visited Ethiopia in February 8, 2020.
