Ethiopian athletics team 2nd delegation lands in Budapest
Addis Ababa, August 17, 2023 (FBC) – The 2nd delegation of Ethiopian athletics team has touched down in Budapest, Hungary ahead of the highly anticipated World Athletics Championship.
The 2nd round of travelling athletics team delegation included medalists Solomon Barega and Berihu Aregawi, other athletes and the leaders of the Ethiopian Athletics Federation.
According to the Ethiopian Athletics Federation, the members of today’s delegation received a accreditation card in Budapest.
It is to be remembered that the first traveling delegation of Ethiopian athletics team arrived in Budapest on Monday 14 August, including the EAF President Derartu Tulu, other officials of the federation, and several athletes.
Since then, the Ethiopian Athletics Federation has signed cooperation Memorandum of Understanding with Hunagry’s University of Sports Science and participated in the the 54th World Athletics Congress where Sebstian Coe was re-elected as the president of the world athletics governing body for the next four years.
The nineteenth edition of the World Athletics Championship is scheduled to be hold from 19 to 27 August in Budapest, the capital of Hungary.
