Ethiopian and Niger leaders hold talks in Niamey
Addis Ababa, May 6, 2021 (FBC) –Ethiopian President Sahle-Work Zewde held discussion with Niger President Mohamed Bazoum in Niamey yesterday.
The discussion focused on the current situation in Ethiopia’s Tigray regional state and border dispute with Sudan.
The sixth general elections and the Grand Ethiopia Renaissance Dam (GERD) were also areas of discussion between the two leaders.
Niger is one of the three African countries that represent Africa in the United Nations Security Council (UNSC).
