Ethiopian Ambassador presents credentials to Cuban President

Addis Ababa, January 7, 2021 (FBC) -Ethiopian Ambassador to Cuba, Shibru Mamo, has presented his credentials to President Miguel Díaz-Canel.

Ambassador Shibru said he would work hard to elevate the historical and multifaceted relations between the two countries to a new high.

The ambassador added he would attaches due attention to improve cooperation between the two countries in the areas of health, education, knowledge and technology transfer as well as to strengthen the people -to-people relations of the two nations.

He further requested the Cuban President to provide support to Ethiopia in the aforementioned areas.

President Miguel Díaz-Canel said his Government would provide the necessary support to the ambassador and the country.
