Ethiopia to host int’l fashion week, trade sourcing exhibition
Addis Ababa, November 1, 2022 (FBC) – Addis Ababa is set to host international fashion week show and sourcing exhibition, where international manufacturers from more than 30 countries are expected to participate
According to the organizers, the fashion week show and trade exhibition will be held from 4 to 7 November, in Addis Ababa.
The 8th edition of Africa Sourcing and Fashion Week (ASFW) event is an international platform that brings together global textile manufacturers and exporters.
It is stated that the trade fair will focus on African cotton, textile, apparel, leather and technology products.
It is expected that more than 200 international and local manufacturers and exporters will participate in the trade show, and it is stated that the trade show aims to create mutual connections for African manufacturers.
It is also seen that the trade fair facilitates African free continental trade.
Messe Frankfurt Exhibition in collaboration with the Ethiopian Textile Manufacturers Association and the Ministries of Trade and Industry are organizers of the event.
Africa’s biggest event for the sourcing and fashion industry, AFSW, is expected to be a platform where the continent’s fashion and manufacturing industry meets with international investors, brands, whole sale and retail.
