Ethiopia, Tanzania ink military cooperation agreement

Addis Ababa, March 28, 2022 (FBC) – Ethiopia and Tanzania signed a military cooperation agreement on Monday.

The Mechanized Division Head at the Ethiopian National Defense Force, Lt.-Gen Alemshet Degfe and Chief of Staff of the Army of Tanzania, Lt.-Gen Masyu Mikingule have signed representing their respective countries.

Lt.-Gen Alemshet noted that the agreement will serve as an instrumental document to further enhance military cooperation between the two countries.

Lt.-Gen Masyu Mikingule, for his part, stated that the agreement would help Ethiopia and Tanzania safeguard peace and security in the two countries and the region at large.
