Ethiopia, South Sudan discuss ways to strengthen border areas security

Addis Ababa, June 6, 2022 (FBC) – Ethiopian Ambassador in Juba Nebil Mahdi held talks with Mahmoud Solomon Agook, Interior Minister of the Republic of South Sudan.

The two have exchanged views on the ways of effecting the proposed Joint Border Administrators’ Consultation of the adjoining regional states from the two Countries that is slated to be held in Ethiopia within the upcoming few weeks.

They have also deliberated the ways of strengthening border areas security, in addition to common concerns over the region and bolstering the fraternal relation of the two Countries.
