Ethiopia, South Korea working jointly to establish agri mechanization center of excellence

Addis Ababa, June 29, 2022 (FBC) – Ethiopia and South Korea are working jointly to establish agricultural mechanization center of excellence in Addis Ababa.

Saying that the agriculture sector is a gear for the Ethiopian economy, State Minister of the sector Sofia Kassa (PhD) said the nation is registering remarkable results in irrigation based summer wheat production calling the establishment of the center crucial to step up the achievements to this end.

Ambassador of South Korea to Ethiopia, Kang Seokhee said the joint project will have an indispensable role in accelerating the achievement in the agriculture sector and boosting the economy of Ethiopia at large.

It is stated on the occasion that the Center of Excellence to be established in Addis Ababa will have branches in regional areas nationwide.
