Ethiopia set to host African youth leaders’ conference
Addis Ababa, October 27, 2022 (FBC) – The Ethiopian ruling party, Prosperity Party, has confirmed that Ethiopia is set to host the African Youth Leaders conference from October 29 to November 1, 2022.
The Organizers of the conference stated that this conference, which will be held for the first time in Ethiopia under the initiative of Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed, will further develop the concept of Pan-Africanism.
It was pointed out that the conference will strengthen African youth fraternity which has a historical background and will create a strong bond between the youths.
Participating youths have started entering Addis Ababa. Besides to the African youths, former leaders of various African countries are also expected to participate.
Youth leaders from all over the continent are expected to participate in this conference in the African Union. It has also been stated that efforts will be made to make them adopt a continental perspective.
In addition to the green diplomacy program, the conference will be an event that can create great potential for the African fraternity.
According to the Prosperity Party, the conference is organized by the Office of the Prime Minister-Ethiopia and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA Ethiopia).
