Ethiopia secures 681mln USD from mining sector

Addis Ababa, July 10, 2021 (FBC) – Ministry of Mining and Petroleum has announced that Ethiopia has earned 681 Million USD from the mining sector during the concluded 2020/2021 fiscal year.

The income generated from the sector is said to have shown remarkable increase compared to the revenue gained in the same periods of the previous fiscal years.

Ministry announced a plan to amass more income from the sector through implementation of several mechanisms put in place.
