Ethiopia, Rwanda discuss ways to enhance bilateral relationships

Addis Ababa, April 22, 2022 (FBC) – Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia to the Republic of Rwanda, Daba Debele has presented on Tuesday (April 19) copies of his credentials to Vincent Biruta, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Rwanda.

During the meeting the two sides discussed bilateral relations and ways to further advance the historical relationship between Ethiopia and Rwanda.

Ambassador Daba also briefed the Rwandan Foreign Minister about the current situations in Ethiopia and the peace initiatives that the government of Ethiopia has been undertaking so far to ensure lasting peace in the country.

In concluding their meeting, Ambassador Daba expressed his heartfelt appreciation for the warm welcome that the Foreign Minister had accorded to him.
