Ethiopia reports one death from COVID-19 in 24 hours

Addis Ababa, May 5, 2020 (FBC) – Ethiopia has reported one death from coronavirus (COVID-19) during the past 24 hours.

A 75-year old woman has died from the virus,  bringing the total number of deaths to 4.

According to the Ministry of Health, about 16 people have also recovered from the virus, taking the total number of recoveries to 91.

The number of COVID19 cases has now reached 145 after five more people tested positive out of the 1, 047 samples taken during the past 24 hours.

Ethiopia’s overall test count currently stands at 25,135.
