Ethiopia repatriates near to 1,000 migrants in three weeks: MoFA

Addis Ababa, October 16, 2020 (FBC) – In its biweekly press briefing, Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that Ethiopia has repatriated 993 migrants from three countries with in the last three weeks.

According to Spokesperson of the Ministry, Ambassador Dina Mufti, among total returnees 953 are from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

He said the remaining 35 are repatriated from Djibouti while the other 5 are from Tanzania.

The spokesperson also briefed the media that the country has undertaken various diplomatic activities over the last three weeks.
