Ethiopia repatriates 259 citizens from Kuwait

Addis Ababa, June 9, 2020 (FBC) – Ethiopia has today repatriated 259 citizens from Kuwait.

The repatriates have been accorded a warm welcome from State Minister of Foreign Affairs Ministry Tsion Teklu, State Minister of Ministry of Peace, Frealem Shibabaw,  Deputy Director of Diaspora Agency, Mohammed Idris  and other high ranking government officials up on their arrival at Bole International Airport.

It is stated that the repatriates will reunite with their family and loved ones after they undergo mandatory quarantine for two weeks at isolation centers arranged by the government.

It is to be recalled that Ethiopia and Kuwait have arranged safe repatriation of citizens willing to return to their homeland so far.
