Ethiopia registers 1,386 COVID 19 cases, 28 deaths in 24hrs

Addis Ababa, August 19, 2020 (FBC) –Ethiopia yesterday registered 1,386 new COVID 19 cases from 22, 101 laboratory tests conducted in 24 hours.

This brings the overall confirmed cases in the country to 32, 722.

The country also reported 28 COVID19-related deaths, bringing the death toll to 572.

Another 414 patients have recovered from the virus to take the total number of recoveries to 12, 938.

There are now 19, 210 active cases, of which 216 are in a severe condition. The country has so far conducted 651, 311 laboratory tests.
