Ethiopia receives invitation to participate in African Youth Conference

Addis Ababa, October 3, 2022 (FBC) – Ministry of Culture and Sports confirmed that Ethiopia has received a letter of invitation to participate in the African Youth Conference to be held in Kigali, Rwanda.

Ethiopian Minister of Culture and Sports, Kejela Merdasa, welcomed and held discussion with Rwandan Ambassador to Ethiopia, Hope Tumukunde Gasatura, at his office.

During their discussion, the Minister and the Ambassador agreed that the two countries share various common values.

According to Mrs. Tumukunde and Kejela, Ethiopia and Rwanda need to establish public-based cultural diplomacy to further connect these common cultural values.

Both officials also advised on ways to strengthen those public-based cultural ties and friendship in the future diplomatic relations.
