Ethiopia ready to cement partnership with South Sudan in green development areas

Addis Ababa, October 14, 2022 (FBC) – Coordinator of the Democratic System Building division in the Office of the Prime Minister, Zadig Abraha discussed with Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Minister of South Sudan Mayiik Ayii Deng on ways of elevating the ties between the two countries.

The two have commended the flourishing bilateral relations and cooperation between Ethiopia and South Sudan.

Zadig affirmed Ethiopia’s commitment to strengthen its ties with South Sudan in the greed development diplomacy sphere, and further transform the people-to-people ties between the two countries.

Ethiopia is ready to expand its Green Legacy Initiative in South Sudan thereby enhancing partnership with the country in environmental protection and preservation of natural resources, Zadig adde.

Likewise, Zadig Abraha held discussions with various high level officials of South Sudan in the sideline of the Plant African Fraternity Youth activities in the country.
