Ethiopia-Qatar Parliamentary Diplomatic Friendship Team discusses with Qatari Ambassador

Addis Ababa, September 15, 2023 (FBC) – The Ethiopia-Qatar Parliamentary Diplomacy Friendship Team received the Ambassador of State of Qatar to Ethiopia, Mr. Hamad Mohammed Al- Dosari at the FDRE House of Peoples’ Representatives to discuss ways of further strengthening bilateral relations.

It is said that the discussion aims to facilitate aquaintances of the members of the parliamentary friendship team with the Qatari ambassador, review cooperations on the treatment of Ethiopian workers in Qatar, and to facilitate an experience sharing program in various fields and activities between the parliaments of the two countries.

The discussion is also said to be helpful to further strengthen the bilateral relations between the two countries, increase cooperation and facilitate the contribution of the parliaments and their collaborations, it is pointed out.

The Chairperson of the Ethio-Qatar Friendship Team, Mr. Mohammed Al-Arusi, stated that the relationship between the two countries is based on mutual benefits. He underscored that they will continue to strengthen their relations in all spheres.

On his part, Ambassador of Qatar to Ethiopia, Hamad Mohammed, confirmed that the relations between the two countries will continue to be strengthened in media, labor management, investment and other areas.
