Ethiopia, Portugal discuss cooperation in culture, sports sectors

Addis Ababa, December 2, 2022 (FBC) – The Culture and Sports Minister, Kejela Merdasa discussed with Ambassador of Portugal to Ethiopia, Luisa Fragoso on way of enhancing cooperation between the two countries in social and diplomatic spheres.

The have exchanged views on how to forge collaboration between the two countries particularly in areas of culture and sports development.

Saying that Ethiopia and Portugal have a longstanding and historical relationship, Ambassador Luisa Fragoso affirmed the commitment of her country to cement ties with Ethiopia in multifaceted areas of cooperation.

Sharing what is stated by the Ambassador, Kejela Merdassa for his part, reaffirmed Ethiopia’s interest to deepen its historical relation with Portugal.
