The Ministers and the guests delivered keynote speeches at the project’s launching, whose insights are said to be vital in paving the way for collaborative efforts in strengthening healthcare.
The Pandemic Fund is said to be a new global partnership that provides financing to strengthen pandemic prevention, preparedness, and response capabilities in low- and middle-income countries.
It is learned that in December 2023, The Pandemic Fund’s Governing Board approved a grant envelope of $500 million for its second round of funding to help low- and middle-income countries scale up efforts to better prepare for future pandemics.
