Ethiopia, Morocco affirm to cooperate on international platforms

Addis Ababa, November 1, 2022 (FBC)  – The Speaker of the FDRE House of Proples Representatives, Tagese Chafo, discussed with his Moroccan counterpart, Rachid Talbi Alami.

In their discussion, they advised that Ethiopia and Morocco should work together on parliamentary, people-to-people relations and cultural exchange.

Speaker Tagese Chafo stated that Ethiopia and Morocco are countries with strong and long-established relations.

He said that both countries also share similar cultural values. Their cultural exchange should be strengthened, he stressed.

Furthermore, Tagese said that the two countries should strengthen their trade relationship.

Both Speakers have confirmed that the two nations will work together on common grounds and cooperate on international platforms.

Speaker Rachid Talbi Alami, for his part, pointed out that Ethiopia and Morocco are countries with a great history and culture.

The two countries will work together to further strengthen their existing relations, he affirmed.
