Ethiopia, Korea discuss ways to strengthen educational cooperation

Addis Ababa, January 31, 2020 (FBC) – A Korean delegation from the National Institute for International Education (NIIED) is in an official visit to Ethiopia.

Kang Ki-young Sug, head of the delegation and deputy director of (NIIED) met here today with Tsion Teklu, Ethiopia’s State Minister of Education.

They discussed ways to strengthen educational cooperation between the two countries.

The deputy director said NIIED is ready to provide support and training in areas needed by Ethiopia’s Ministry of Education.

Tsion briefed the delegation on the efforts her office is undertaking to maintain education quality, including on the new education road map.

The State Minister called on the Korean institute to continue the support it has been providing to Ethiopia’s education sector.
