Ethiopia, Korea agree to cooperate in geospatial sector

Addis Ababa, November 1, 2022, (FBC) – Ethiopia and South Korea signed a memorandum of understanding to work together in the geospatial sector.

Ethiopian delegation led by the Minister of Urban and Infrastructure, Chaltu Sani, has arrived in South Korea to attend the “Smart Geospatial Expo 2022” which will be held in KINTEX, South Korea, from November 2 to 4.

The delegation was welcomed by South Korea’s Minister of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, Won Hee-ryong, and officials as well as Ethiopia’s Ambassador Extraordinary & Plenipotentiary to South Korea, Dessie Dalke.

On the other hand, they have also signed a memorandum of understanding to work together by discussing various agendas of the sector that are being implemented in Ethiopia.
