Ethiopia keen to work with IYF in capacity building: State Minister

Addis Ababa, January 15, 2020 (FBC) – Ethiopia’s State Minister of Peace, Almaz Mekonnen, received today Dr Ock Soo Park, founder of International Youth Fellowship (IYF).

In the discussion, Almaz briefed the delegation on works being done by the Government to produce a productive citizen and engage the youth in volunteerism programs.

She said the various training programs carried out by IYF in different parts of the country paid a lot in producing youth that contribute for their country.

The State Minister added that Ethiopia is keen to work with IYF in capacity building, particularly on behavioural change skills training.

Dr Ock Soo Park for his part noted that IYF is ready to work with and provide support to the Ministry of Peace.

He added behavioural change skills training is crucial to make the youth productive and agents of development.
