Ethiopia, Jordan agree to promote tourism cooperation
Addis Ababa, February 21, 2024 (FBC) – Ethiopian Tourism Minister, Ambassador Nasise Chali and her Jordanian counterpart Makram Mustafa Queisi, has reached an agreement to promote cooperation on tourism industry.
During their discussion, the two ministers highlighted the longstanding relations between Ethiopia and Jordan in historical, cultural and religious spheres.
The two sides have agreed to set out coordinated tour and travel packages to leverage tourism potentials of the two countries for mutual benefit.
The agreement also includes capacity building and experience sharing among the two countries.
Makram Mustafa Queis eulogized Ethiopia as home to unique historical, cultural destinations, adding that the nation has experiences to share with his country in registering heritages sites by UNESCO.
