Ethiopia joins SCAJ at the opening of World Specialty Coffee Conference in Tokyo

Addis Ababa, September 27, 2023 (FBC) – Ethiopian Ambassador to Japan, Daba Debele along with the president of Specialty Coffee Association of Japan (SCAJ) and other Ambassadors of Coffee Exporting Countries have opened World Specialty Coffee Conference and Exhibition 2023 event.

The event is organized by the Specialty Coffee Association of Japan (SCAJ) in Tokyo Big Sight, has attracted a numerous coffee growers, exporters, importers and processors worldwide.

Ethiopian Coffee Association president, General Manager and 45 Ethiopian coffee exporters are participating at the event.

The Embassy of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia in Tokyo along with exporters and the association management is conducting an Ethiopian specialty coffee showcasing a variety of Ethiopian specialty coffee beans, Ethiopian Coffee Ceremony aided by audio visual explanation.

The event will last until September 29, 2023 along with side meetings between Ethiopian and Japanese coffee importers.
