Ethiopia-Italy business forum held in Rome

Addis Ababa, June 25, 2022 (FBC) – Ethiopia-Italy business forum held in Rome with participation of investors and government officials of the two countries focusing on investment, trade and tourism sectors from June 23-24, 2022.

National Security Advisor of the Prime Minister of Ethiopia, Redwan Hussien, in his opening remarks, said Ethiopia and Italy have been enjoying longstanding relationship in political, economic and social spheres. 

The bilateral relation between the two countries is growing, Ambassador Hussien noted, stressing the need to cement the ties in the economic sector.

Saying that such a business forum has a crucial importance in enhancing economic cooperation between the two countries, he expressed readiness of the Government of Ethiopia to facilitate all the necessary support to Italian companies interested to invest in the country.

Italian companies working in Ethiopia gave their testimonies about the conducive investment climate created by the Government and immense opportunities in the country.
