Ethiopia-Israel Innovation Week opens in Addis Ababa

Addis Ababa, July 26, 2022 (FBC) – The Ethio-Israel Innovation Week opened in Addis Ababa on Tuesday with a view to enhance ties between the two countries several areas of cooperation.

On the launch of the Innovation Weed, State minister of Innovation and Technology, Huria Ali stated that Ethiopia has received wide range of assistance from Israel in technical and human resource development sectors under the international cooperation framework of the two countries.

Huria emphasized need to take lessons from profound experiences of Israel in the innovation and technology sector, underling significance of the event in doing so.

Israel’s Ambassador to Ethiopia, Alelegne Admasu, for his part, underscored Ethiopia and Israel have been enjoying close bilateral relationship and partnership in various sectors of cooperation, commending the role of such events in deepening historical and longstanding ties between brotherly people of the countries.
