Ethiopia, Indonesia discuss investment opportunities in floriculture
Addis Ababa, January 27, 2021 (FBC) -The Ethiopia-Indonesia floriculture industry meeting organized by the Ethiopian Embassy in Jakarta and the Indonesian Association of Flower Arranger was held virtually yesterday.
The meeting made a successful deliberation on import-export and investment opportunities in the floriculture sector, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Professor Admasu Tsegaye, Ethiopian Ambassador to Indonesia, Ambassador Regassa Kefale, Director General for Foreign Trade and Tourism Promotion, and Lucia Raras, Chairperson of the Indonesian Association of Flower Arranger delivered opening remarks.
During the meeting, Tewodros Zewdie, Chief Executive Director of Ethiopian Horticulture Producers and Exporters Association, highlighted the investment and trade opportunities in the area of floriculture.
Key Ethiopian and Indonesian companies presented their profiles and discussed areas of trading and partnership.
More than 82 companies from Ethiopia and Indonesia participated in the online meeting, exchanged information, conducted business matching, and showcased their products.
