Ethiopia, GGGI discuss cooperation on green economy
The Global Green Growth Institute’s (GGGI) newly appointed Country Representative of Ethiopia, Okechukwu Daniel Oybonnaya, presented a copy of his appointment to Ambassador Demeke Atnafu, Chief of Protocol of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Both exchanged views and means of scaling up cooperation and collaboration on supporting the efforts of the government on the implementation of the climate resilient green economy strategy, with a focus on solar powered irrigation systems.
Demeke also received the newly appointed Permanent Representative of the “Organization de la Francophonie” to the AU and the ECA and discussed ways to promote the French language, according to Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
