Ethiopia eyes connecting all woredas with asphalt roads in 10 years

Addis Ababa, August 3, 2020 (FBC) –The Ethiopian Roads Authority (ERA) has announced plans to link all woredas (districts) with asphalt roads over the coming 10 years.

The 10-year plan also eyes building 21 road projects that facilitate trade and free movement of goods with neighbouring countries.

The 10-year road sector plan is expected to create employment opportunities for more than 3.5 million people.
