Ethiopia, Djibouti agree to enhance cooperation in transport and logistics sector

Addis Ababa, March 5, 2023 (FBC) – Ethiopia’s Minister of Transport and Logistics, Alemu Simie (PhD), during his working visit to Djibouti, held discussions with Hassan H. Ibrahim, Djibouti’s Minister of Infrastructure and equipment aimed at enhancing cooperation in the transport and logistics sector.

Alemu Simie, Minister of Transport and logistics  of Ethiopia, together with Hassan H. Ibrahim, Minister of Infrastructure and Equipment of Djibouti and Aboubakar Omar Hadi, President of Djibouti Ports and Free Zone Authority, visited the Red Sea World, Djibouti’s international exhibition center and the free zone.

The two sides further vowed commitment to cement cooperation in port development and related projects, underscoring the crucial role that Ethiopia and Djibouti are poised to play in furthering economic integration within the transport and logistics sector.
