Ethiopia, Czechia seek to forge strong cooperation on international forums
Addis Ababa, November 7, 2024 (FBC) – State Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ethiopia, Ambassador Mesganu Arga Moach, met today with Ambassador of the Czech Republic to Ethiopia, Miroslav Kosek and held insightful discussions at his office.
On the occasion, they have exchanged views on further consolidating the long-standing relations between the two countries, among others, in the fields of manufacturing, heavy industry, agriculture, defense, and museum.
Ambassador Mesganu stressed the importance of intensifying the cooperation of the two countries in the political and economic fields through holding regular political consultations and joint business forums that would yield tangible results.
He also emphasized the conducive business environment created in Ethiopia through the introduction of the current major macroeconomic reforms and called on Czechia companies to invest in selected priority areas.
Ambassador Miroslav Kosek, on his part, expressed his country’s keen interest to enhance cooperation with Ethiopia. He also stressed the importance of exchange of official visits to further strengthen the bilateral relations.
The two sides also agreed to work together to cooperate in the international forums on issues of mutual interest, as per MFA Ethiopia.
