Ethiopia, Czech Republic proclaim to buttress cooperation on mutual concerns
Addis Ababa, December 10, 2022 (FBC) – Ethiopia and Czech Republic asserted that they would maintain and strengthen the existing cooperation on mutual concerns, according to MFA Ethiopia.
The newly appointed Ambassador of the Czech Republic to Ethiopia, Miroslav Kosek, presented a copy of his credential letter to the chief of Protocol Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Demeke Atnafu.
Welcoming the ambassador to Ethiopia, Demeke extended his best wishes for his diplomatic endeavor in Ethiopia.
He also expressed the readiness of the government of Ethiopia to back any new initiative of the ambassador to strengthen and deepen the existing relations between the two countries.
Demeke Atnafu explained to the ambassador the agreement for Cessation of Hostilities signed in Pretoria and the process of its implementation. He also briefed the ambassador on Ethiopia’s positions on resolving outstanding GERD issues amicably.
Ambassador Miroslav Kosek, for his part, assured that he would maintain and strengthen the relationship between both countries.
At the end of the discussion, both sides noted that they should work together on their mutual concerns.
