Ethiopia, Czech Republic agree to work in collaboration in areas of culture, tourism
Addis Ababa, March 10, 2024 (FBC) – Ambassador Nasise Chali, Tourism Minister of Ethiopia, has conferred with her Czech counterpart Martin Baxa and Director of Czech National Museum Michal Lukas ,in Prague.
During the discussion, they have agreed to closely work together mainly in the areas of culture, tourism and heritages management.
The 205 years old National Museum of Czech Republic is one of the oldest and largest Museums in the world with 20 million collections attracting of 1.5 million tourists every year.
The Minister and the Director promised to support Ethiopia’s National Museum and also donate a Black Rhino to one of Ethiopia’s zoo parks.
To recall Czech Prime Minister Peter Faila visited Addis Ababa and Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed did the same to Prague in December last year.
