Ethiopia coronavirus cases reach 86,430, death toll stands at 1,312

Addis Ababa, October 15, 2020 (FBC) – Number of confirmed Coronavirus cases in Ethiopia have reached 86,430 as Ministry of Health reported 712 additional infections on Wednesday.

The new infections have been detected out of 7,121 samples examined in twenty four hours, according to the Ministry.

Number of people who died from the virus also increased to 1,312 including 7 deaths confirmed yesterday.

Moreover, 858 patients have recovered from the disease so that number of recoveries surged in to 40,165.

There are currently 44,951 active cases in the country of which 230 are in severe condition.

Ethiopia has conducted 1,370,095 laboratory tests over the last months.
