Ethiopia congratulates Brazil on assuming the BRICS Presidency in 2025

Addis Ababa, January 3, 2025 (FMC) – Ethiopia supports the Brazilian BRICS Presidency’s vision of advancing fair, representative, and effective global governance, fostering deeper economic ties, and mobilizing climate finance, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement.

Ethiopia looks forward to working with the BRICS Presidency in 2025. Ethiopia takes this opportunity to congratulate the Russian Federation for its exemplary stewardship of BRICS in 2024.
