Ethiopia-China Investment Forum held in Shanghai

Addis Ababa, October 19, 2023 (FBC) – Ethiopia-China Investment Forum held in Shanghai City in participation of more than 300 Chinese companies.

During the Forum, Ministers of the Ministries of Finance and Mines Ahmed Shide and Habtamu Tegegn as well as the Investment Commissioner Lelise Neme briefed the company representatives on potentials and opportunities in priority investment areas of Ethiopia particularly in the mining sector.

Representatives of the Chinese companies, for their parts, have expressed their keen interest to explore the investment opportunities in Ethiopia, pledging to make a preliminary visit in advance.
