Ethiopia, Chile reiterate commitment to cooperate on multilateral issues

Addis Ababa, June 8, 2023 (FBC) – The governments of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia and Chile reiterated continued commitment to cooperate on multilateral issues, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ethiopia.

Ambassador Mesganu Arga, Minister of State for Political and Economic Diplomacy Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ethiopia, today received at his office the newly appointed ambassador of Chile, Rodrigo Guzmán Barros.

Their discussion focused on ways of further deepening the longstanding diplomatic ties, especially in the areas of agriculture, tourism, and cultural diplomacy.

The two dignitaries also reiterated the commitment of respective governments to cooperate on multilateral issues, as per the Ministry.
