Ethiopia, Canada PMs hold talks on ways of fighting spread of COVID-19

Addis Ababa, March 23, 2020 (FBC) – Prime Minister Dr Abiy Ahmed has held discussion on the phone with Prime Minister Justin Trudeau of Canada.

“I had a fruitful phone conversation with Justin Trudeau on ways of mitigating the spread of COVID-19,” the Ethiopian Prime Minister said on twitter.

“We agreed to work closely together, including through experience sharing and other means,” he added.

Prime Minister Dr Abiy also held talks last Saturday with Italian Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte.

The Prime Minister expressed Ethiopia’s solidarity with the people of Italy in this difficult time.
