Ethiopia briefs int’l community on humanitarian efforts in Tigray region

Addis Ababa, July 7, 2021 (FBC) -Minister of Peace, Muferihat Kamil and the National Disaster Risk Management Commissioner, Mitiku Kassa, have briefed the international community on the humanitarian efforts underway in the Tigray region.

The briefing aimed at addressing the humanitarian activities including food and non-food items distribution and discussed outstanding issues.

It also deliberated on collaboration frameworks, according to the Ministry of Peace.

The briefing was attended by representatives of UN agencies and humanitarian organizations operating in Ethiopia.
