Ethiopia begins repatriation of nationals in Saudi Arabia tomorrow

Addis Ababa, April 11, 2024 (TBC) – State Minister for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Birtukan Ayano, stated that repatriation of Ethiopian migrants stranded in camps of Saudi Arabia will be commenced in a coordinated manner tomorrow.

A delegation led by Ambassador Birtukan held discussion with staff of Ethiopian Embassy in Riyadh and consulate in Jeddah on arrangements of the repatriation.

On the occasion, the State Minister announced that all the preparations have been finalized to start the repatriation tomorrow.
