Ethiopia, Kazakhstan vow to cement bilateral ties

Addis Ababa, December 30, 2023 (FBC) – Ethiopia – Kazakhstan Parliamentary Diplomacy Cooperation Team held a virtual meeting on ways of enhancing bilateral ties between the two countries.

The team explored the ways how to deepen parliamentary relations between Ethiopia and Azerbaijan.

Chairwoman of the Ethiopia-Kazakhstan Parliamentary Diplomacy Cooperation Team, Bethelehem Lakew (PhD), stated that the two countries have many things in common that lay the foundation for their future cooperation in multiple areas.

As landlocked developing countries, Ethiopia and Kazakhstan need to cement multifaceted cooperation to achieve their shared goals and ensure mutual benefits.

Chairman of the team on Kazakhstan’s side, for his part, said Said that the two countries has fertile ground to work together in agriculture and education, trade and technology areas, pledging commitment to bring the existing parliamentary cooperation to the next level.
