Ethiopia and Germany vow to collaborate on skill development and job creation
Addis Ababa, December 20, 2024 (FMC) – Ethiopia’s Labor and Skills Minister Muferihat Kamil recently announced the results of a productive meeting with Germany’s Ambassador to Ethiopia, Jens Hanefeld. The discussion focused on enhancing bilateral cooperation, particularly in the areas of skill development, job creation, and peaceful industrial relations, according to the Minister.
During their conversation, Minister Muferihat emphasized the crucial role these sectors play in fostering prosperity in Ethiopia. She noted that the ongoing homegrown economic reforms in Ethiopia have yielded positive results, contributing to peace, stability, and regional connectivity.
Ambassador ens Hanefeld reaffirmed Germany’s commitment to increasing support in these critical sectors, highlighting the importance of continued collaboration. Muferihat expressed her gratitude to the Ambassador for Germany’s dedication to advancing Ethiopia’s initiatives in skill development and job creation.
