Ethiopia and China discuss manufacturing industries experience exchange platform

Addis Ababa, September 14, 2024 (FBC) – Ethiopia and China have reached agreement to set up platform for the exchange of knowledge and experiences between their respective manufacturing industry communities.

This move aims to strengthen trade and investment cooperation between the two nations, fostering greater collaboration and understanding.

During a consultation between the Ministers of Industry from both countries, it was decided that a forum would be established to facilitate the sharing of experiences and ideas among the manufacturing industry communities.

This forum will serve as a catalyst for collaboration, allowing Ethiopian and Chinese investors to explore investment potential, market demand, favorable policies, and investment opportunities in Ethiopia.

The experience exchange platform will also provide Ethiopian investors in the manufacturing industry with the opportunity to strengthen their ties by collaborating with their Chinese counterparts through joint investments. This strategic partnership will not only benefit both nations but also pave the way for further growth and development in the manufacturing sector.
