Ethiopia agrees to export wheat to Kenya
Addis Ababa, October 7, 2022 (FBC) – Ethiopia and Kenya have reached an agreement for export of wheat grain to Kenya.
The agreement was reached when Kenyan President William Ruto held talks with Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed during his official working visit in Addis Ababa.
According to the Office of the President of Kenya, the wheat export agreement will contribute to stabilize the price of food products in Kenya.
In addition to the wheat supply agreement, both leaders agreed to work together to utilize the economic potential between the two countries.
In general, they reached an agreement to take the relations of the two neighboring East African countries to a higher level and to increase cross-border trade.
