Ethio-telecom reduces tariffs for broadband internet

Addis Ababa, February 27, 2020 (FBC) –Ethio-telecom has reduced charges for fixed broadband internet service.

Accordingly, the rates for residential are dropped by up to 69%, for VPN service by 72%, and for enterprise clients by 65%.

Firehiwot Tamiru, CEO of Ethio-telecom, said her office has also upgraded the broadband internet service.

The upgrading work would have a significant contribution to provide quality services to educational and health facilities, financial firms and other businesses.

It would also play a major role in increasing accessibility and transparency in public services.

The 126-year old Ethio-telecom recently announced a three-year strategic plan to meet demand of its clients.
