Ethio telecom Launches 4G LTE Mobile Internet Service in Central North Region

Addis Ababa, September 23, 2021 (FBC) – Ethio telecom has launched 4G LTE advanced mobile internet service today in the Central North Region.

According to a statement the company published on its website the towns covered in the service are Debre Berhan, Fiche, Shewa Robit, Sululta, Sheno, Sendafa, Gerba Guracha and Legetafo where high mobile data traffic has been observed.

It has thus called on customers to visit nearby telecom shops and upgrade their 3G SIM cards to 4G free of charge.

The company reminded that high bandwidth, high-speed features and reliable data services of 4G LTE will enable customers to digitize their services, and increase productivity.

So far, 86 towns in 15 regions across the country are able to get the service.
